Essentrics is a full body workout that rapidly changes the shape of your body through a dynamic and fluid combination of strengthening and stretching. The technique develops lean, strong and flexible muscles with immediate changes to your posture. Perfect for men and women of all fitness levels, this program rebalances the body, prevents and treats injuries and unlocks tight joints. With a diverse music playlist accompanying each routine, this equipment-free workout leaves you feeling energized, youthful and healthy.
If desired, you can bring a yoga mat for the floor exercises. You might also want to bring a water bottle. Essentrics is done without shoes.
Times—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 9:00–10:00 a.m.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays—Faster-paced Essentrics workout to dynamically stretch and strengthen all the muscles and work all the joints in a full range of motion.
- Wednesdays—Slower “Aging Backwards” class, aimed at regaining mobility while slowly building strength and reawakening the power of all muscles. Designed for those who have stiffness, chronic aches and pains, or who are beginning to exercise after a sedentary period.
